Reservations & Deposits:

Reservations may be made by calling or visiting Queensway Tours, or through your local travel agent. (The local travel agent may apply service charges.) Early reservations are essential as space is limited. A deposit of $100 per person is required when booking on multi-day tours. When booking day trips, the full cost of the trip will be due at the time of booking.  Any cancellation insurance must be taken out at this time. The balance of the total cost is due 60 days prior to departure. Some tours have special requirements. Please check the tour itinerary to see if any of these apply.

Seating on Coach:

Queensway Tours does not offer seat selection. During the course of sightseeing tours 5 days or longer you may be asked to rotate your seat. The day that rotation will start is at the discretion of the tour director. All passengers are expected to follow rotation on these tours. Please note that our tour directors make every effort to accommodate special needs.

Please note that clients may have to transfer coaches, as we have passengers joining our tours from all over South Eastern Ontario.

Times:

Departure times, pick-up times, and location will be sent approximately 14 days prior to travel or on receipt of final payment in the case of late bookings. You will recieve you  baggage tags on the morning of your departure at your pick-up location.

Luggage:

Limit of 1 large suitcase to be carried under the bus, and 1 small soft-sided tote bag as hand luggage per person. Please note that the overhead baggage compartment on coaches is smaller than on airlines, and that your soft-sided carry-on will have to be small enough to fit either at your feet, or in this small overhead compartment.  

On specific multi-day tours such as Florida, Myrtle Beach and Branson (as per your itinerary) you will be assigned a second overnight baggage tag.  This tag will be used on the small piece of luggage that you carry into the hotel each evening.  This smaller tagged bag is stored underneath the coach also. All cases should be standard airline regulation. We encourage all of our clients to pack responsibly with respect for drivers, baggage handlers, and your fellow passengers.

Tour Director:

Tours are accompanied by an experienced tour-director who will assist in any way possible, ensuring you the finest tour ever. Occasionally one day tours are operated by driver only.

Admissions, Side Trips & Meals:

Queensway Tours includes the cost of side trips, admissions, guided tours, etc. that are listed under “Tour Inclusions.”  Meals are not included unless specified in the tour. Unused tour features are not refundable.

Handicapped Persons:

Persons requiring extra assistance must be accompanied by a companion of their choice who is able to administer any necessary assistance. Please notify Queensway Tours of any special requirements.

Accomodations:

Moderate to 1st class hotels are selected for each tour. We use many of the major hotel chains with the amenities varying, depending on the type of tour Please note that room requests will be passed on to the hotel on your behalf, but cannot be guaranteed.

Identification:

All Canadian Citizens crossing into the United States by coach, car, airplane, ferry, or train require a valid passport. Passengers traveling to other destinations and citizens of other countries may require additional identification, such as a visa.. It is the passenger’s responsibility to have proper documents. Failure to have proper documents is not covered by cancellation insurance. All expenses involved in transporting anyone back to their pick up location will be borne by the individual.

Smoking:

Smoking aboard the motor coach causes discomfort for other passengers and therefore is not allowed, however we do stop at frequent intervals giving passengers the opportunity to smoke. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the coaches. We would also like to remind all passengers to be responsible regarding perfumes, colognes, hair spray,and body lotions. A growing number of our clientele are sensitive to strong scents. In an effort to ensure the comfort of all passengers we ask each individual to restrict the use of these items.

Prices:

Prices are per person and include all service charges and taxes. All pricing is in Canadian dollars. Prices are accurate at the time of printing and are based on current exchange rates, airfares, fuel prices, etc. We reserve the right to alter these prices at any time prior to departure, should changes occur, subject to limitations imposed by law.

Tipping:

Tipping is an accepted custom worldwide. Queensway Tours includes the gratuities for baggage handlers and meals listed in the “Tours Includes”. Tipping is not included for step on guides, tour directors or drivers, plus all meals that are not listed as included. These gratuities are extended at your discretion on an individual basis.

Cancellation Policy For Tours Completely by Motorcoach:

All Queensway Tours are non-refundable within 30 days prior to departure. If you have to cancel prior to this cut-off, you will receive a full refund. There are a few exceptions to this policy. NASCAR trips are completely non-refundable from the time of booking, as are all Buffalo Bills trips and concert tours. RBC Cancellation insurance is available for purchase through Queensway tours and is highly reccommended.

Package Holiday Cancellation Insurance:

It is strongly recommended that you purchase insurance to protect yourself against cancellation charges due to sickness or death in the immediate family before OR during your tour. In the event that you must return home during the tour, all transportation costs will be the passenger’s responsibility. Complete details of coverage and exclusions are available from your QueenswayTours representative or from your travel agent.

Air Tour:

The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not aboard their aircraft of conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The service of any IATA carrier may be used in connection with the air portion of this tour. Please read documentation carefully.

Tour Cancellation:

Queensway Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. In the event of a cancellation, Queensway Tours is not responsible for any additional costs/penalties incurred on travel arrangements and air tickets purchased separately from the package purchased from Queensway Tours.

Responsibility:

Queensway Tours acts solely as organizer of the tours outlined in the brochure and is responsible for making all reservations and charting the route as outlined, but it is expressly understood and agreed between the tour organizer and the passenger that Queensway Tours or its agents shall not be accountable for:

a) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration whether physical or mental however caused, except where caused directly by the tour operator;

b) non-performance on the part of any hotel or any other accommodation or courier for any act or omission that cannot be directly attributed to the neglect of the tour organizer;

c) any delay, misconnections, loss, damage, or injury to persons or property, or for mechanical defects or failure, however caused, or for any substitution of hotels or carrier equipment occasioned thereby;

d) unless through the direct fault of the tour organizer, any additional costs incurred or any ancillary loss sustained as a result of cancellations or delays of tours caused by inclement weather conditions, acts of God, or any other event, which result in one or more persons being unable to continue to complete the tour. The tour organizer reserves the right to make any changes before or during the tour for the comfort and enjoyment of the passengers and it is agreed and understood that any increases in costs occasioned by such change shall be paid by the passengers or any decrease in costs occasioned by the change shall be refunded to the passengers.

All tour itineraries are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice except as provided by law.

Queensway Tours shall have no responsibilities beyond a refund of all or some monies paid by the passenger pursuant to it’s contract which is deemed to constitute a full settlement.

The tour organizer reserves the right to decline any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour should such person’s presence be considered detrimental to the interest, comfort and enjoyment of the other tour members. Persons leaving the tour during operation will not receive a refund of unused services. By booking a tour or making a deposit, you agree to the above terms and conditions.
