Q. Do you have any new tours?
A. New tours will be listed and highlighted in each of the appropriate Tour Sections of our Website. We will be adding new tours often, so check back frequently for new information. You may also contact our office for an update on new product.
To recieve up-to-date information directly to your email, please sign up for our email newsletter. If you would like to recieve our Upcoming Tours newsletter, please contact our office, and we would be happy to mail you a copy.
Q. How can I quickly tell what tours are going when?
A. Please check the list of All Tours on our website for a monthly breakdown of what is going when.
Q. Where do I meet the coach?
A. Our pickup points in Ottawa are as follows:
- 1. St. Laurent Shopping Center, in front of East Side Mario’s Restaurant
2. Queensway Tour Office, 1516 Merivale Road at the back of the plaza
We may offer pickups out of town depending on time constraints, and the direction of the coach. We suggest when making your reservation that you tell us where you live and one of our reservation agents can advise the closest pickup point.
In the instances that we do not have a convenient pick up location near your home, Queensway Tours is pleased to offer you a special stop-over rate. The Travelodge on Innes Road, has extended a rate of $79.99 per room to our clients. The hotel features rooms with two double beds, an indoor pool and restaurant on sight. Best of all, you are able to park your car for free for the duration of your trip. Reservations are made by Queensway Tours, are based on two people sharing a room and are subject to availability. Please note that there is no pickup at the Travelodge, so you will be required to make your way over to the St. Laurent Shopping Centre for your departure.
Please note that clients may have to transfer coaches, as we have passengers joining our tours from all over South Eastern Ontario.
Q. How can I reserve for a trip?
A. You can make a reservation by calling our office at (613) 225-0982 or 1-800-267-3483, or by visiting us during our office hours. You can email us at tours@queenswaytours.ca with your information and we will follow up with you to process payment and confirm your reservation.
Q. Do you make concessions for special needs?
A. If you require special needs please advise our office immediately. Some tours are not suited for these situations.
Q. Can I make certain room requests?
A. When making our hotel reservations we always request non smoking, with two double beds. If you want a smoking room, please speak with our office prior to departure, as some hotels are completely non smoking, or are offering very few smoking rooms. As far as all other requests go, we add them to our rooming lists at the time you make your reservation and if the hotel can honor them, they do. Please keep in mind that they are requests and there is no guarantee.
Q. When I make a reservation, do I get a ticket?
A. We don’t issue tickets per se. You will receive an invoice showing you have fully paid and confirming your pick up time and loctation, as well as a detailed itinerary. This information can be sent to you by mail or by email, depending on your preference. If you have not received the above documentation please contact our office.
Q. Can I reserve my seat on the coach?
A. We do not offer seat selection on any of our tours. Seating is on a first come, first served basis on the morning of departure. As we have passengers joining our tours from across South Eastern Ontario, please be aware that you may be required to transfer coaches.
Q. What are your cancellation penalties?
A. Our cancellation penalties are listed under the terms and conditions section of this Web site. For your protection, we are pleased to offer RBC cancellation and trip interruption insurance which may be purchased at the time of booking. The cost varies depending on the cost of the trip.

Q. Do you ever cancel tours and what happens in this case?
A. We occasionally have to cancel tours due to lack of response. Once notified by our office you are entitled to a full refund of all money paid to Queensway Tours (including insurances) or you have the option to transfer to another tour, if applicable.
