Days 1-2 - Carlisle/Santee

Our first two days will be spent getting to know one another, while traveling southward to the sunshine. To add a little pleasure along the way, youll be welcomed by the friendly folks at the hotels we have chosen for you in Carlisle/Chambersburg, PA and then further south in Santee, S.C.

Day 3 - St. Petes

Traveling south through Jacksonville, Ocala and Tampa, our arrival will be early in the evening in St. Petes Beach. Our hotel is The Alden Beach Resort, located on beautiful St. Pete Beach. For your pleasure the hotel features two heated pools, two whirlpool spas, shuffleboard, tennis courts (with light), cookout deck with gas grills, game room, laundry room with coin-operated machines and the Cabana Beach Bar. The resort is within walking distance of a shopping plaza and many fine restaurants.

We have secured three types of suites at the Alden:

All suites come with cookware, dishes, and utensils as well as standard amenities including: in room safe, iron & ironing board, free HBO, daily morning newspaper and a complimentary first pot of coffee.

The first is the Nassau, a fully equipped one-bedroom unit located in the courtyard area of the hotel. These rooms have a separate bedroom with two double beds, dresser, remote controlled TV, telephone/data port, as well as a large closet. The living/dining room contains a queen size sofa bed, dinette table and chairs, a remote controlled TV and telephone/data port. The kitchen offers a large refrigerator, range with oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker.

The second style of room is the Bermuda suite, which has an open floor plan bedroom, living/dining room and kitchenette. All rooms face the courtyard. Although smaller in size, the rooms feature a king-size bed, dresser, telephone/data port as well as a large closet. The living/dining area contains a double sofa bed, dinette table and chairs, a remote controlled TV and telephone/data port. The kitchen offers an under the counter refrigerator, range with oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

The third style of room is the Lanai suite, a fully equipped, self-catering, one bedroom suite with a bedroom, living/dining room & kitchenette. It is located on the beachfront. There is a total of 484 square feet (400 square feet of interior living space and 84 square feet of a private gulf front balcony). The bedroom contains two double beds, dresser, remote controlled TV, telephone/data port as well as a large closet. The living/dining room contains a queen size sofa bed, dinette table and chairs, a remote controlled TV and telephone/data port. The kitchenette offers an under the counter refrigerator, range with oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

Day 4-20 (if traveling on the 30 day program days 4-27)

Here on the sunny Gulf Coast, transportation will be provided for shopping, sightseeing, flea market, and church outings. Your Queensway Tours representative has a full itinerary planned for you or you may wish to rent a car and explore a little on your own. Relaxing by the pool or sandy beach to work on your tan is also a great option.

Day 21-23 (if traveling on the 30 day program days 28-30)

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Today we board our coach and re-trace our steps back to our stopover hotels in Fayetteville, NC and Carlisle/Chambersburg, PA. A stop will be made at Duty-Free store before entering Canada. Our arrival will be late afternoon or early evening of Day 23 (or Day 30).
