Join us for 6 days celebrating the Grand Ole Opry the longest running live show. From the luxury of the Gaylord Opryland Resort to the lunch cruise on the General Jackson, to question and answer time with a country music star and our reserved seats at various performances this is a trip sure to meet all of your expectations when it comes to country music. Even the scenery that we will drive through is breath taking.
Day 1: Maumee
Today we depart from Ottawa traveling west on Hwy 401 to the Detroit border crossing, stopping for lunch, breaks and Duty Free before arriving in Maumee, Ohio for our first night.
Day 2: Nashville
We depart Ohio for "Music City USA". Traveling through the state of Kentucky, we arrive in Nashville by mid afternoon. We will check into the World renowned Opryland Hotel! Dinner is on your own this evening as you explore the fabulous amenities of this spectacular hotel.
Day 3: Nashville
Breakfast is on your own, before we board the coach to enjoy a guided tour of Nashville, including the famous "Music Row" and the stars homes, as well as a drive by the Parthenon. Following our tour we will board the General Jackson Paddle Boat to enjoy lunch and some live entertainment. Tonight we will enjoy dinner & a show at the Nashville Nightlife Theatre.
Day 4: Nashville
Enjoy another delicious breakfast before we head over to the Opry House for a backstage tour. Additional sightseeing includes visits to the Ryman Museum and The Grand Ole Opry Museum. Dinner is on your own at the Opry Mills Entertainment Complex. We spend the evening enjoying a performance of the Famous Grand Ole Opry. This is the longest running live show around.
Day 5: Maumee
After breakfast we depart for Maumee, Ohio where we will spend our last evening together.
Day 6: Ottawa
This morning it's homeward bound, making a stop at duty free before entering Canada, with our expected arrival in Ottawa by early evening.
