We have received numerous requests over the past couple of years for a longstay holiday in Myrtle Beach. We are responding with this value package! Enjoy Myrtle Beach in an oceanfront one bedroom efficiency unit and then pick and choose the attractions or side tours that you would like to attend. Myrtle Beach has plenty to offer the whole family and is now known as the "Entertainment Showplace of the South", with a variety of venues, including Country Music, Circus Acts, Ice Skating Shows, Big Name Concert Performers, Broadway Revues and Dinner Attractions. Enjoy the shows, great meals and super sightseeing, mingled with surf and sun.
Day 1-2: Chambersburg/Myrtle Beach
All aboard with friendly traveling companions we travel south making a stop at the duty free before crossing the border at the Ivy Lea Bridge. We travel through the States of New York & Pennsylvania, arriving in Chambersburg, PA for our first night. The next morning we continue on through Virginia and the Carolinas, arriving in Myrtle Beach late afternoon on day two. We check into our oceanfront one bedroom suites at the Best Western Carolinian. This fabulous resort is located on the ocean and features an enclosed oceanfront swimming pool, lazy river ride, restaurant across the street, fitness center, minature golf, free local phone calls, cable TV with free HBO and free high speed internet. Our rooms feature two full sized beds, furnished private balcony, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer coffeemaker, toaster, all utensils, living room and two T.V's. Check in, relax and enjoy your dinner!
Day 3-20: Myrtle Beach
The next five days will be fun-filled with optional planned activities, time to enjoy the beach and the amenities of our hotel. Sightseeing choices include: Brookgreen Gardens with its impressive botanical displays and sculptures and the historic southern city of Charleston SC, featuring fascinating architecture dating back to Civil War Days. Shopping is another exciting experience in Myrtle Beach. Stops will be made at the Colonial Mall and specialty shops at "Barefoot Landing" and "Broadway at the Beach". Your tour director will have a complete itinerary for you. Simply pick what you want to do and pay any applicable admission or meal cost. Transportation is included in your price! (Admissions and meals will be payable in U.S. dollars)
Day 21-22: Carlisle/Ottawa
Enjoy one last view of the ocean as we sadly depart on our journey home. Retracing our steps, we head northward; we overnight in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. An early departure brings us back to Ottawa with lots of memories from our wonderland vacation in Myrtle Beach.
