Find a little bit of Europe in your own backyard as you visit the first cities of Canada.

Day 1: Montreal and Quebec City

Our tour begins with the highlights of Montreal. Three million people live in greater Montreal, a bustling multicultural metropolis, with everything a world-class city has to offer. Sit back and let your local guide explain the history of some of the famous landmarks located in this exciting city. After some free time to have lunch on your own, we'll continue to Quebec City, "Canada's Oldest City" which has celebrated its 400th anniversary. This picturesque provincial capital will charm you with its old world atmosphere of narrow streets, steep hills and numerous historic treasures on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The next two days and nights are spent revelling in this historic city, where the European flair is so prevalent with its horse drawn carriages, cobble stone streets, sidewalk cafes, excellent restaurants and quaint buildings. Your hotel will be The Hotel Classique in Ste-Foy. Dinner this evening will be enjoyed at one of Quebec City's fine restaurants.

Day 2: Quebec City

After a continental breakfast at the hotel, a guided tour takes us to the Plains of Abraham, Parliament Buildings, the famed Chateau Frontenac plus more more. After lunch on your own in Old Quebec, we'll travel to the renowned shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupre. We will stop for a taste of hot buttered homemade bread, baked in an old-fashioned outdoor oven. We will also make a stop at the Albert Giles Copper Museum. See the amazing works of this great artist who was commissioned by the Pope. During this tour along the Beaupre coast, you will witness the relaxing way of life from bygone years. This trip would not be complete without a visit to Montmorency Falls, where the height of the falls exceeds that of Niagara. Dinner this evening is on our own in Old Quebec.

Day 3: Ottawa

After another continental breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time to explore Quebec City on your own. Visit the promenade, wander down Treasurers Street, a narrow cobblestone street, where local artists display their work. Perhaps visit a museum or try "Experience Quebec", a multimedia 3d show in the Heart of Old Quebec. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, as we depart from this charming city around noon and arrive in Ottawa early this evening.
