Arizona a land of mountains, forests, stunning red cliffs, deserts, famous canyons and fantastic sunsets. Arizona filled with natures miracles, culture and renowned for being blessed with the perfect climate. Queensway Tours is excited to be able to offer you two exciting opportunities to visit Arizona. For those of you who enjoy a leisurely pace & fun on board our deluxe highway cruisers and ever changing scenery, consider the 24 day coach tour! The other option is to board a plane in Ottawa, and in a mere 5 or 6 hours arrive in beautiful Phoenix. Either way, Queensway Tours is your ticket to Arizona!

Day 1 - Maumee
All aboard for an exciting 24 day adventure throughout the American Southwest. We make stops for coffee, lunch and at duty free as we make our way to the Windsor-Detroit Bridge. Our first overnight stay is in Maumee, Ohio.
Day 2 - Nashville
Today we pass through the state of Kentucky into Tennessee, en route to Music City USA - Nashville. Tonight we take in a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
Day 3 - Memphis/Tunica
Further south, our destination today is Memphis, home of the late great Elvis Presley. A visit to Graceland is included. This afternoon we continue the fun as we move on to Tunica, the Souths Casino Capital. We check into our Casino Resort hotel. Dinner is included this evening, with some free time to challenge Lady Luck.
Day 4 - Dallas
A full day of travel today, as we make our way to the Lone Star State Texas. Overnight tonight is in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Day 5 - Abilene
We start the day with a guided tour of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dallas is a dynamic destination that tops the Texas charts for both business and leisure travel. It is the No.1 visitor destination in Texas, the southwests largest banking center and home to numerous million dollar companies. Following our tour, we continue west to the city of Abilene, known for its diversified farming and cattle operations, as well as oil production.
Day 6 - El Paso
Today we journey to Texas western-most city, El Paso. Here you can travel roads used by native Indians, Spanish conquistadors, and Franciscan padres, as well as famous and infamous characters, from the Old West. Just a trolley ride away is El Pasos sister city of Juarez, Mexico, where the settlement of this region began 400 years ago. We spend the afternoon touring this historic city.
Day 7- Tucson
More sandy plains, as we make our way into the state of Arizona, where the city of Tucson becomes home for the next four nights. Tucson was first established in 1776, when it became a refuge for Mexican civilians. Surrounded by four different mountain chains, the comfortable climate and desert atmosphere is sure to please. We make our home at the Windmill Inn and Suites, located at St. Phillips Plaza in the Tucson foothills. All rooms are two room suites, with microwave, wet bar and mini fridge. Other features include heated outdoor pool and whirlpool spa, coin operated guest laundry, fitness room, guest bicycles and Best Seller lending library. This hotel is non-smoking.
Day 8 - Tucson
This morning we include a guided tour of this beautiful city. Let us familiarize you to the rich heritage of Tucson. The afternoon is free to relax and re-visit any attractions of interest.
Day 9 - Tucson
Our sightseeing continues at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, featuring living animals and plants of the Sonora Desert. The excitement continues as we visit Old Tucson, home to the sets of hundreds of motion pictures and TV commercials. This will truly be a day to remember.
Day 10 - Tucson
Today is a free day for you to enjoy perhaps you would like to visit Colossal Cave, The Museum of Natural History or the Grace Flandreau Museum. It is totally up to you how you spend your time. We meet up for dinner which is included this evening.
Day 11 - Phoenix/Scottsdale/Mesa
A short three hour drive takes us to the resort area of Phoenix Scottsdale Mesa. Our home for the next four nights is an exciting cosmopolitan resort destination, in the middle of the desert. Our guided tour this afternoon will quickly orient you to the area. We check into our hotel, The Hampton Inn Scottsdale. Located in one of Scottsdales most prestigious communities, surrounded by tennis courts, parks and 22 restaurants this hotel features an outdoor heated pool. Our rooms have two double beds, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Day 12 - Scottsdale
This morning your tour director will arrange some informal sightseeing and an opportunity to experience some of Scottsdales shopping! This afternoon relax by the pool or continue sightseeing on your own.
Day 13 - Scottsdale
This morning we will drive to Taliesin West, an architectural wonder by Frank Lloyd Wright. We will take the guided tour and enjoy the sculpture garden. Lunch is on your own in downtown Scottsdale with ample time to shop and enjoy the fabulous art galleries.
Day 14 - Scottsdale
A full free day to enjoy the Arizona sunshine.
Day 15 - Sedona
We say goodbye to Scottsdale, Phoenix and Mesa, making the short drive to Sedona. For decades, Sedona has inspired artists and photographers who have tried to capture its singular beauty. In May 2003, the area was singled out by USA Weekend Magazine as the Most Beautiful Place in America. After a brief orientation tour of this picturesque city, we will give you free time to explore the shops, galleries and casual eateries. We spend the night in order to witness the fabulous sunset and sunrise.
Day 16 - Sedona
A full day to relax and enjoy this piece of paradise!
Day 17 - Grand Canyon
We continue into Northern Arizona en route to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Grand Canyon. The walls descend more than a mile to the canyon floor and run 277 miles from end to end. Overnight tonight is just outside the South Park Entrance. This evening we will return to the Grand Canyon to watch the sunset.
Day 18 - Petrified Forest Painted Desert/Albuquerque
First stop is the Petrified Forest a surprising combination of colourful concentrations of petrified wood, multi-hued badlands, historic structures, archeological sites and displays of 225 million year old fossils. We will have a leisurely drive to our destination today, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Enjoy the contrast of native Indian and Spanish heritage, combined with the space age technology of today.
Day 19 - Oklahoma City
Our eastbound journey continues today as we cross the state of Texas and enter into Oklahoma. Oklahoma has a mainly agricultural economy and ranks 4th in the nation for wheat production, 4th for cattle and calf, 5th for pecans, 6th in peanuts and 8th for peaches. Youre sure to enjoy the varied beauty of todays scenery. We will overnight in Oklahoma City.
Day 20 - Branson, Missouri
The short jaunt from Oklahoma City to Branson allows us to make an afternoon arrival and begin our sightseeing. We will have a brief orientation tour of this entertainment capital, with a visit to a local winery. This evening we include dinner and a performance at one of Bransons 30 theatres.
Day 21 - Branson
This morning we will enjoy some outlet shopping with lunch on your own. Dinner and a show are on the agenda for this evening.
Day 22 - Indianapolis
We begin the end of a memorable vacation by making our way to Indianapolis, as we wind our way back towards Canada.
Day 23 - London
Our journey continues as we make a brief stop at Duty Free as we cross back into Canada via the Windsor Detroit Bridge. We will then stay in London for our last night.
Day 24 - Ottawa
Spend the day exchanging addresses and phone numbers with all your new found friends. The short drive from London to Ottawa should see us arriving home in the late afternoon.
