Q. Do you have any new tours?

A. New tours are listed under the New Tour Section of our Website. These are generally tours that are not in our brochure. You may also contact our office for an update on new product.

Q. How can I quickly tell what tours are going when?

A. Please check the Calendar section of our website, located under "Our Trips", for a monthly breakdown of what is going when.

Q. What discounts do I get on a tour?

A. The only discount that we offer is a 5% early booking bonus on tours that are booked and paid in full at least 45 days in advance. Excluding, One Day Tours, Transportation Only, Cruises and Air Packages. Senior discounts are factored into the tour cost.

Q. Where do I meet the coach?

A. Our pickup points in Ottawa are as follows:

  1. St. Laurent Shopping Center, in front of the East Side Mario's
  2. Voyageur Colonial Bus Station, Catherine and Kent St., Front Doors
  3. Fairlawn Plaza, Carling and Woodroffe Ave, front of old Canadian Tire
  4. Kanata, Kanata Town Centre, Katimavik Road

We offer a multitude of pickups out of town, in such areas as Pembroke, Renfrew, Arnprior, Smiths Falls, Carleton Place, Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston to name a few, depending on the direction of the coach. We suggest when making your reservation that you tell us where you live and one of our reservation agents can advise the closest pickup point.

In the instances that we do not have a convenient pick up location near your home, Queensway Tours is pleased to offer you a special stop-over rate. The Travelodge on Innes Road, has extended a rate of $79.99 per room to our clients. The hotel features rooms with two double beds, an indoor pool and restaurant on sight. Best of all you can park for free and we will pick you up at the hotel. Reservations are made by Queensway Tours and are based on two people sharing a room and are subject to availability.

Q. How can I reserve for a trip?

A. You can make a reservation by calling our office at (613) 225-0982 or 1-800-267-3483. You can email us with your information or contact any registered travel agent. (Travel agents may charge a service fee for making a reservation.

Q. Do you make concessions for special needs?

A. If you require special needs please advise our office immediately. Some tours are not suited for these situations. We offer a 10% discount to the traveling companion who is assisting in the special needs situation.

Q. Can I make certain room requests?

A. When making our hotel reservations we always request non smoking, with two double beds. If you want a smoking room, please advise our office prior to departure, as some hotels are completely non smoking, or are offering very few smoking rooms. As far as all other requests go, we add them to our rooming lists at the time you make your reservation and if the hotel can honor them, they do. Please keep in mind that they are requests and there is no guarantee.

Q. When I make a reservation, do I get a ticket?

A. We don't issue tickets per se. What you should always receive is an invoice showing you fully paid and a letter confirming your pick up point and time. If you are traveling on a multi-day tour then you will additionally receive a baggage tag, optional tour report, information on traveling in the U.S (if you are traveling in the U.S.) and a detailed itinerary. Occasionally the itineraries are sent out separately from the original packet, but you should receive everything at least 2 weeks prior to departure. If you have not received the above documentation please contact our office. For clients that elect to use a retail travel agency your documents will be sent to the agency.

Q. Can I reserve my seat on the coach?

A. We now offer seat selection on all multi day tours. Seats may be reserved once we receive your reservation and deposit. This is on a first come, first serve basis.

Q. What are your cancellation penalties?

A. Our cancellation penalties are listed under the terms and conditions section of this Web site. We do offer cancellation and trip interruption insurance which may be purchased at the time you make your reservation. This insurance protects for cancellations due to medical reasons or death in the family. The cost varies depending on the cost of the trip.

Q. Do you ever cancel tours and what happens in this case?

We occasionally have to cancel tours due to lack of response. Once notified by our office you are entitled to a full refund of all money paid to Queensway Tours (including insurances) or we may have another departure that you can switch to if it is convenient for you. Generally speaking we have a couple of options to offer.
